Best Practices

Anti-seize should never be used on engine internals or lug nuts

Do not apply anti-seize in the following applications where:

  • (a) Requires threadlocker
  • (b)  Where Brake Lubricants would be better to use
  • (c) A factory service manual calls for oil on threads or otherwise specified,
  • (d) A gasket will be used on mating surfaces.

To prevent spontaneous galvanic corrosion, the type of anti-seize should be as similar as possible to the metal being used on

For spark plugs, it is best to follow manufacturer’s recommendations

For Cleanup

•Clean parts of excess material with disposable towel.

•Clean hands with hand cleaners such as Fast Orange® or Fast Orange® wipes .
