Application Tips
The BIGGEST differences when Applying rapid cure threadlockers is you can apply to dirty or oily bolts and they will cure faster than standard threadlockers.
1. Clean the threads of old threadlocker, rust or corrosion with a wire brush or thread chaser
2. Spray Brake Cleaner and/or use compressed air to get particles off the threads
3. Identify the metal type: If using an inactive metal, you must use an activator such as Permatex® Surface Prep (if necessary).
4. Shake the Bottle
5. Prepare the nozzle: Cut to size
6. Apply to the threads.
7. Install and torque to specifications
