How to Apply

1. Clean the surface of all the previous sealing components (Gasket, RTV Gasket Maker, or both).

 

2. Spray brake cleaner on the surface and then wipe the surface to remove any oil or other residue.

 

3. Lay the gasket down so the side that attaches to the part is facing up.

 

4. Apply a continuous bead of the Cut Gasket Coating on the part or the gasket. Then spread the Cut Gasket Coating with your finger to fully coat the entire gasket.

 

5. Place the gasket on the component.

 

6. Repeat Step #4 on the uncoated side of the gasket.

 

7. Assemble parts immediately while silicone is still wet. Finger tighten until material begins to squeeze out around flange.

 

8. Let dry for on hour then tighten to torque specifications.
